NAVANEETH NATARAJAM
This was a really fun moment to capture for myself, as is when attempting to take any photograph involving animals. I was drawn to this cat instantly due to its intense glare, which seemed to me due to it protecting the “precious” items behind it. It shows how the value and importance of things are transient and can change form from being to being. This is one the last photos I took in London before lockdown occurred, which makes the image even more significant to me.
Photo taken in London, a few days into widespread isolation
I took this image on my phone and edited it so the focal point of the image is the cat’s glare, along with the vivid orange colours of the objects laid on the wall the was upon.
